When you decide to buy a home or refinance a mortgage, it's a big step. You need to know and work with a trustworthy and knowledgeable Mortgage Advisor to help navigate you through the process.  Somebody who can hold your hand, and clearly explain the process and help you to determine the very best loan to fit your needs and the situation at hand. I have over 20 years of experience helping first time buyers, move up buyers and investors to find the right loan for each individual situation.  Having a vast amount of experience in all areas of residential lending, I am able to look for the right product to accommodate my borrowers, whether it be an FHA purchase that requires a re-hab aspect to the loan, or a special first time buyer program that offers down payment and closing cost assistance, I use my years of experience to match the right loan to my customer's situation.  Even refinances can be difficult in this market with all of the erosion of equity over the past few years, and some people that were able to qualify for a loan 3 years ago, might have difficulty under today's current lending standards.  Whether or not you decide to work with me, I just ask you to do your homework, and make sure whomever you chose is experienced enough to help make this loan a good experience, rather than a nightmare. 

Buying a new home can be a source of anxiety, stress and frustration --but also a  huge sense of accomplishment. You didn't pick the house that was best for someone else, you picked the one that's right for you! Now it is up to me to help you to find the mortgage loan that is right for you, also. One of the key responsibilities of my job is to help navigate your loan through a system of ever tightening guidelines, and procedures, in a market that has had more changes in the past 2 years, than it has over last 20 years combined. Actually things have gone back to the way they were  before the advent of the zero down payment, no documentation qualifying loans that began the current housing crisis.  Borrowers now actually have to qualify, and underwriters have to do a thorough process of evaluating the risk of the loan, before granting approval.  Only an experienced loan originator can help you to smoothly go through the process, having a knowledge of underwriting, guideline and procedure changes, and an ability to foresee and head off problems before they arise.  That is what I am her for.
